The goal of the Holtville Unified School District is to provide high quality education in an atmosphere that is safe and nurtures the learning process for the children of the Holtville community. In a period of financial challenges for public schools, HUSD is committed to accomplishing its goals of student achievement while maintaining sound financial practice and operational accountability.
To accomplish this accountability, the HUSD Business Department is tasked with supporting all facets of the educational experience for Holtville students through sound fiscal management and accounting principles. The Business Department endeavors always to provide timely, accurate information to all interested parties, including the Holtville community, District staff, the Imperial County Office of Education, and the California Department of Education.
Areas of operation housed within the Business Department include budgeting, financial reporting, purchasing, accounts payable and receivable operations, payroll, and employee benefit services.
